Review about "The Kids Are All Right"

"The Kids Are All Right" is a mixture between a drama movie and a comedy movie. At the beginning, it was fun to watch and pretty entertaining, but I was soon let down when it kept getting more boring as it went on.

The first impression was cool, since the movie involved a family with two lesbian moms, sex scenes and curse words. However, the movie surprisingly got to a point where everything was easily predicted.

In my opinion, it had nothing different from other modern movies. I just can't understand why all directors make their actors cheat on each other, then forgive each other, and act like nothing happened. It seems that a happy ending is mandatory. This is a completely unrealistic fact that killed the director's all chances of making a modern/realistic story out of his creation.

To end up, I will say that this movie had no excitement because it was excessively unoriginal.

  1. Very good Andoni. However, you could've added a paragraph with some character descriptions. Also, 'end up' doesn't mean 'in conclusion'.

e.g., If you rob banks, you'll end up in jail.
